Lydon Construction, a licensed, insured general contracting firm serving the Sacramento and surrounding areas was formed in 1994 by John Lydon after 10 years of remodeling for General Contractors in San Diego, Los Angeles and Sacramento. Through careful, measured growth Lydon today provides a full range of services for home remodeling projects.

Our work is driven primarily through referrals from Architects/Designers in the Sacramento area and referrals from past clients. We are often called back by past clients for their new remodeling projects.

John Lydon is a general contractor with over 34 years of experience in residential remodeling. John began his construction career in southern California and established Lydon Construction when he relocated to Sacramento in 1994. John has hands on experience in all aspects of home remodeling. John has been very fortunate to work with an eclectic group of clients, ranging from those in the Hollywood industry, medical industry, and educators to the tech industry. No project is too small or large for Lydon Construction. John has a reputation for creating long lasting relationships with his clients. A number of his clients have returned for second, and third additional remodeling projects due to the relationships he builds through his commitment, quality craftsmanship, customer service and attention to detail.
John’s life experiences from living in Italy, Paris, and Germany have given him a unique perspective in design and the importance of details. Growing up a home with 10 brothers and sisters has provided John with a greater understanding of the purpose and functionality of a family home.
